Let me introduce you to a few of my characters and their personalities.
Megan is a gentle soul, she doesn't go out of her way for confrontation despite what she is and given what she has had to endure she is able to remain mentally strong where most of us would in fact fall to pieces.
Blake is the strong silent type, his only concern is Megan. Physically the strongest  and a very short fuse, he has no problem at all with confrontation and will do so without the slightest hesitation.
Jase is easy going and a complete womaniser, full of sarcasm but also quick to anger. His downfall is his inability to protect his twin and the similarity he bears to the one man who is a huge threat to them.
Devon is sweet and charming although just as ferocious as his brother, an instant attraction to the female population but he tends to shy away from them.
Trey is very cheeky and mischievous, sarcasm and crudeness are his main traits although he thrives on stirring up trouble amongst the males in the household.
Peter is the father figure of the household although Blake does tend to fit the role of leader. He holds a tight rein on his temper although you wouldn't want to be around him when he loses it. A dedicated husband and a proud stepfather for Megan and Jase, he is the peacemaker of the household but won't hesitate to spring into action when trouble arises.
Beth is a very troubled soul indeed, fiercely protective of her children she is quite content to remain in the background when trouble comes knocking.  Being the only human in the household doesn't prevent her from losing her own temper when the need arises. Harbouring  secrets from those she loves, may just return to haunt her sooner than she thinks.

I was born and raised in London which is where I still live now with my husband and children. As a child I always had my nose stuck in a book. I started out reading mysteries such as Nancy Drew and then soon moving onto Agatha Christie. I then found a love of the horror genre, Richard Laymon being my favourite author among a few others. When a friend introduced me to the paranormal romance/fantasy genre I soon became hooked, building myself a very impressive to read pile and a long list of favourite authors. I would say both of these genres have influenced in the way I write and combining them is where I came up with the idea for my book.
